In the case of all other considerations being equal, priority is given to applicants who meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Children graduating from Al Ashrafiyeh Kindergarten.
• Siblings of current NOS students.
• Current students transferring internally between sister schools of the Orthodox Educational Society (OES)
• Children of current staff at NOS and other OES Educational Institutions.
• Children of NOS Alumni.
• Children of highly-qualified faculty members that the school is trying to recruit.
• Applicants who exhibit exceptional talents or are extremely gifted academically or otherwise.
• Applicants who are academically gifted students coming from limited-income families.
• Returning students who had to leave the school for a period of time due to family relocation.
