Jordanian Students Parliament (JSP)

We believe that today’s students are the future leaders. Therefore, one of our main objectives is to educate students critical thinking skills to succeed in life, face challenges, solve problems creatively, be able to express one’s opinion, accept others' opinions, take responsibility, be aware of the importance of future planning, and provide developmental proposals based on the scientific approach.

The Jordanian Student Parliament Club was established to achieve these objectives through:

  • Engaging students in the democratic process, decision-making, and proposing solutions.
  • Highlighting the importance of active participation in Jordanian societal issues.
  • Acquiring & developing leadership, communication, collaboration, and participation skills.
  • Contributing to supporting and developing the traits of   responsible citizenship among students.

The activities that students are engaged in, include:

  • The annual participation in the Jordan Model Parliament Conference (JMP) hosted by The King's Academy schools.
  • Holding an in-school conference involving various educational stages to implement the club's goals.
  • Visiting the Jordanian House of Representatives.
