Stage (1-3):

We at the National Orthodox School AlAshrafiyeh stage (1-3) collaborate together to unveil the children’s inclinations and desires and provide them with proper guidance, experience, and basic skills to integrate and communicate effectively.

 

 This stage focuses on helping children to:

 Promote feelings of gratitude for God's blessings.

  1. Instill love and loyalty to homeland, the culture of our society and the sense of belonging.
  2. Promote their self-confidence, independence, collaboration and participation within and outside school.
  3. Promote moral sense by instilling positive values towards science, work, environment, ethics, civilization and others, whether as individuals, groups, or as a nation.
  4. Equip them with basic language communication skills, including comprehension, reading, written and oral expressions while fostering a passion for reading.
  5. Promote their awareness of their rights and duties.
  6. Promote their abilities to communicate positively and express their needs, desires and talents.
  7. Promote their artistic, athletic, motor and aesthetic sense.
  8. Equip children basic scientific, math skills and its practical applications.
  9. Equip them with the required knowledge and principles in science, environment, health and scientific terms for better understanding of their surroundings.
  10. Provide enriching, athletic, cultural and artistic opportunities to achieve balanced growth that supports their adaptation with their peers and their surroundings.
  11. Guide their abilities and potential towards self-learning, research, and exploration to acquire knowledge.
  12. Develop their critical and creative thinking skills to enable them solve real life problems.

 

Stage (4-6)

We at The National Orthodox School AlAshrafiyeh stage (4-6) seek to consolidate the skills and knowledge acquired by students in the lower primary stage, nurture them, guide their inclinations and desires, and prepare them for the upcoming academic stages.

 

This stage focuses on helping students to:

  1. Promote feelings of gratitude for God's blessings.
  2. Provide them with a conscious knowledge of the history of the Arab Nation and its values which are represented in their morals and behaviors.
  3. Guide them to explore and utilize their abilities and potentials.
  4. Promote their sense of environmental safety, cleanliness and beauty.
  5. Provide a safe educational environment to apply knowledge and transform it into life practices.
  6. Provide opportunities for them to express their opinions and provide logical solutions to sustainable development issues for human societies.
  7. Foster their self-acceptance and others despite their differences.
  8. Employ life skills and 21st-century learning skills (critical and creative thinking, collaboration, and communication).
  9. Acquire digital and technological skills relevant to daily life.
  10. Equip them with a set of knowledge, skills and values related to their society in terms of geography, history, civilization and demography comprising their surrounding community, their homeland - Jordan, the Arab world, and some features of the world and the universe, in order to develop their sense of place, time, and identity.
  11. Develop their artistic, athletic, motor skills, as well as aesthetic sense.
  12. Provide the necessary knowledge and skills that align with the appropriate growth characteristics, allowing effective participation in the learning process.
  13. Provide opportunities for enriching spiritual, athletic, and cultural activities that aims to create balance growth, explore and promote their talents and abilities.
