One of our goals is to prepare our students educationally and scientifically to enable them to integrate with the rapid scientific and technological changes and use them in their practical lives. Hense, the science club strives to promote technological and scientific creativity and foster innovation, through:

 

  1. Directing students’ energies and utilize their skills and talents for the betterment of their characters.
  2. Teaching students various thinking skills to excel in their lives, face challenges and solve life problems creatively.
  3. Equipping students with scientific thinking skill and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Acquiring digital skills and employing them in their lives to enrich their learning process in line with the ethical values of their society.
  5. Attaining knowledge from its scientific resources and employ them to benefit our country and humanity at large.
  6. Connecting students with their homeland and environment through scientific trips.
  7. Enhancing cooperative work and collaboration among students through project planning and execution.

 

 

The fields that the science club endeavors to execute its activities include:

  • Biology                             
  • Mathematics        
  • Physics
  • Computer Science
  • Chemistry 
  • Geology and Astronomy

 

The activities undertaken by the club include:

  1. Training students to use computers and various software programs.
  2. Staying updated with scientific news through reading scientific journals and publications.
  3. Participating in scientific competitions at the level of private schools, the Ministry of Education, private and governmental universities.
  4. Contributing to researches and scientific journals preparations at school and the Private Schools Directorate levels.
  5. Organizing scientific school trips to science museums, zoos and botanical gardens.
  6. Producing educational aids such as illustrations and models.
  7. Conducting simple scientific experiments and training students on the scientific devices’ usage.
  8. Collecting and classifying environmental samples (rocks, plants etc.…)
  9. Organizing scientific exhibitions and lectures.
  10. Celebrating Science Days and prominent Scientists by show casing their achievements.
  11. Improvising and preparing handmade devices, soap, chalk paper, etc.…
  12. Contacting scientific centers and institutions that can be visited to lecture students about exciting scientific topics.
  13. Organizing panel discussions to address current scientific topics and ideas that may help in solving local and humanitarian community problems.
