Orientation for New Students and their Parents takes place 1–2 weeks before the official start of the school year, usually end of August/beginning of September. New students and parents are notified by e-mail and phone of the exact date, time, location and programme of the orientation session.
The orientation session for New Students of Grades (2-12) and their Parents usually includes a reception, tour of the school guided by stage counsellors and volunteer students, and a meeting with the concerned Head of Stage and the Stage Counsellors.
Grade 1 New Students and Parents Orientations are held separately. Students spend a couple of hours getting to know their new classroom and homeroom teacher, and enjoying some fun activities and arts and crafts to help give our little ones a chance to adapt to their move from kindergarten to the “Big” school.
