The National Orthodox School – Shmaisani is one of the educational institutions of the Orthodox Educational Society (OES). Established in 1957, OES is a national charitable organization. It strives to serve the community and contribute to its betterment by providing quality education together with social and humanitarian services, as well as promoting cultural awareness, human values and morality. To realize its mission, OES established the National Orthodox School – Shmaisani, Wahbeh Tamari Kindergarten and the National Orthodox School – Ashrafiyeh.

OES & NOS believe that quality education should be accessible to all - not only the privileged - thereby promoting socio-economic cohesion and equality among various sectors of society. That is why we keep our tuition affordable for most sectors of society. However our aspirations for continuous growth and our commitment to ongoing advancement and community service far exceed our current income. This makes YOUR support most necessary
